Daft Punk

1993 – 2021

Daft Punk, a duo formed by French musicians Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in 1993, is renowned for their revolutionary influence on electronic music. Their unique style blends house, funk, electro, and techno, enriched with a distinctive visual and stage aesthetic. The group achieved global fame with albums such as “Homework” in 1997 and “Discovery” in 2001, the latter featuring hits like “One More Time” and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.”

Daft Punk is also recognized for their iconic use of robotic helmets and stage outfits, adding an aura of mystery and innovation to their performances. These visual elements have become an inseparable signature of their artistic identity, symbolizing the fusion of man and machine.

In 2013, their critically acclaimed album “Random Access Memories” marked a turning point with its more melodic approach and exploration of disco and rock. The album won several Grammy Awards, cementing their status as icons of modern music.
